Marta Kostyuk just claimed the biggest title of her career in Madrid, and she did it in style! 💥

The Ukrainian star powered past Mirra Andreeva 6-3, 7-5 to lift her maiden WTA 1000 trophy, showing real class, calm, and confidence on the big stage. But after the match, it was not only the silverware that got people talking — her so-called “Lucky Shorts” also added a hilarious twist to the celebrations, with fans buzzing and laughing over the unusual good-luck charm. 😄🏆 A brilliant win, a bold personality, and a moment nobody will forget! What do you think — are lucky charms real, or is it all about confidence and form? 🤔

What a rollercoaster in the Bundesliga! 🔥

Bayern Munich had to dig deep and fight back from two goals down, with Michael Olise striking with the very last kick of the game to rescue a dramatic 3-3 draw against bottom club Heidenheim on Saturday. Vincent Kompany made major changes after Bayern’s midweek Champions League setback to PSG, clearly with next week’s return leg in mind — but Heidenheim still pushed the champions all the way. A wild result, a late rescue, and plenty to talk about! 👀 Was this a valuable point for Bayern, or a warning sign before the PSG showdown?

Jannik Sinner is proving once again why he is one of the fiercest competitors on the tour. 🔥

Despite a relentless schedule and mounting fatigue, the Italian powered his way into his maiden Madrid final, showing the kind of grit, focus, and championship mentality that separates the good from the great. From Indian Wells to Miami to Monte Carlo, Sinner has been on a remarkable run — and he is still finding another gear when it matters most. That surge of adrenaline in the biggest moments? It is clearly working. Can Sinner turn this incredible season into another major title moment? 👀

Justice has been served in a shocking case that has sent a strong message across Cote D'Ivoire

Former Cote D'Ivoire international Aboulaye Traore has been sentenced to 3 years in prison after being found guilty of rape. The Bouaké court also ordered him to pay 15 million CFA francs to the victim and banned him from appearing in the central region for 5 years. The Ivorian League for Women’s Rights says this ruling is a major step in the fight against impunity for sexual and gender-based violence. This is bigger than football. It is about accountability, justice, and protecting victims. What message do you think this verdict sends to society and to survivors seeking justice?

Barcelona are charging toward the LaLiga crown! 🔥

A solid 2-0 win away at Getafe made it nine straight league victories for the Catalan giants, with Fermín López and Marcus Rashford delivering the goals that kept the title dream burning bright. That result sends Barcelona to 85 points, moving them 11 clear of Real Madrid with just five matches left to play. The pressure is now firmly on the chasing pack, while Getafe remain sixth on 44 points. Can anyone stop Barcelona from sealing the LaLiga title now? 🤔

Big injury scare for Real Madrid and Brazil 🇧🇷⚽

Eder Militão is reportedly at serious risk of missing the World Cup after picking up a hamstring injury. The Real Madrid defender felt a twinge during the win over Alavés, was forced off before halftime, and an MRI later confirmed a muscle injury in his left hamstring. What looked like a minor issue has now turned into a major concern for both club and country — and Brazil will be hoping their defensive rock recovers in time. Do you think Militão will make it back in time for the World Cup?

World Cup travel warning in the U.S.?

Amnesty International, alongside dozens of American civil and human rights groups, has issued an unusual travel advisory ahead of the summer’s tournament in the United States. Their message is a serious one: concerns are growing over rising authoritarianism, increasing violence, and what they call a deteriorating human rights situation. The groups say the warning became necessary because, in their view, there have been no meaningful guarantees from FIFA, host cities, or the U.S. government to address these concerns. A major sporting event should unite the world — but can football truly be celebrated when human rights worries are in the spotlight? What do you think: should FIFA have done more before the tournament?

Big move in African football! ⚽🔥

Big move in African football! ⚽🔥 Véron Mosengo Omba, the former CAF General Secretary and a close ally of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, is not stepping away from the African football scene just yet. On May 20, he will be among nine candidates contesting for the presidency of the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFA). This election could open a new chapter for FECOFA, which has been under a FIFA Normalisation Committee since 2021, following investigations into former president Constant Omari over alleged embezzlement of broadcast revenue. A major shift is coming — and the future of Congolese football could be about to change. Will Mosengo Omba be the right man to lead FECOFA into a new era? 👀

Copper Queens crumble in FIFA Series opener as Canada run riot in Brazil

By Betty Enoch         The Copper Queens of Zambia endured a difficult start to their FIFA Series Tournament campaign in Brazil, falling 4–0 to a ruthless Canada side in a match defined as much by pre-game turmoil as well as on-field performance. Zambia arrived in Brazil under a cloud of disorganization, poor travel arrangements, visa issues, disrupted preparations, and the absence of their head coach Nora Häuptle.  Those setbacks showed immediately, with the more composed and well-prepared Canadians taking control from kickoff. After waves of early pressure, Canada broke the deadlock in the 41st minute when Nichelle Prince finished off a precise cross from Delaney Pridham, poking home from close range. Prince doubled the lead just before halftime, capitalizing on a failed clearance to score with a composed finish inside the box, sending Canada into the break with a deserved 2–0 advantage. Zambia attempted a revival at the start of the se...
