Big move in African football! ⚽🔥
Véron Mosengo Omba, the former CAF General Secretary and a close ally of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, is not stepping away from the African football scene just yet.
On May 20, he will be among nine candidates contesting for the presidency of the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFA).
This election could open a new chapter for FECOFA, which has been under a FIFA Normalisation Committee since 2021, following investigations into former president Constant Omari over alleged embezzlement of broadcast revenue.
A major shift is coming — and the future of Congolese football could be about to change.
Will Mosengo Omba be the right man to lead FECOFA into a new era? 👀
